Patrick Morley joined Brighton Park Capital as a Senior Advisor in September of 2024. He currently serves on the board of Posit, a Brighton Park portfolio company.
For the past 30 years, Patrick helped lead, build, and grow early-stage startups into market leading, public companies. He’s had the opportunity to be part of 5 IPOs. Patrick loves building great companies while working with extraordinary people. He serves as a Board member and advisor for both late-stage and early-stage tech companies.
Between 2007 and 2021, Patrick built Carbon Black which went from a 20-person startup into a security leader with 1200 global team members. He worked with an amazing team and grew from 5 customers to 20,000+. They envisioned creating a world safe from cyberattacks and worked tirelessly to keep thousands of global customers protected with world-class technology.
Along the way, there were some incredible milestones including: a merger with Bit9, three acquisitions, a company transition to a SaaS model, a successful IPO on NASDAQ in 2018 and a $2.1 billion sale to VMware, where Patrick served for two years as General Manager for the company’s Security Business Unit.
Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree from Providence College. He lives in Massachusetts and enjoys time with family and all things outdoors.
