Lisa Hammitt

Lisa Hammitt joined Brighton Park Capital as a Senior Advisor in December of 2019. Lisa has more than three decades of experience in growing technology-oriented businesses, most recently in the application of artificial intelligence and quantum security to problems involving national security and space. She is chairwoman of Intelsat, an operator of MEO and GEO satellites, and sits on the boards of Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE: COO), QuSecure (quantum security; California) and Auterion (autonomous drone operating systems; Switzerland). She advises Archetype.ai Holdings (large language models; California).

Lisa was previously Global Vice President for Artificial Intelligence at Visa and held related senior positions at IBM/Watson, Salesforce, and HP.  She has degrees from UC Berkeley, completed graduate-level AI coursework at Stanford, and received executive education at Stanford Law School and Harvard. Lisa’s eight issued or pending patents cover topics as diverse as ontology-driven information systems, content management, complex data graphs, blockchain security, quantum networks, and AI-enabled privacy. She maintains a top secret security clearance and speaks four languages.
