John Glaser joined Brighton Park Capital as a Senior Advisor in May of 2020. He currently serves on the board of Relatient, a Brighton Park portfolio company.
John is an Executive in Residence at Harvard Medical School. He is a former Senior Vice President of Population Health, at Cerner Corporation. Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Health Services. Prior to Siemens, John was the Chief Information Officer at Partners HealthCare.
John currently serves on the boards of the Scottsdale Institute, Lumeon, Neu Health, National Committee for Quality Assurance, the American Telemedicine Association, and Wellsheet.
John received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He has written over 200 articles and three books on the strategic application of IT in health care, including the most widely used textbook in the field. He is on the faculty of the UTHealth School of Biomedical Informatics and the Harvard School of Public Health. He was formerly on the faculty of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
